Croton Gorge Park Engagement Photos – Sarah & Kayla – We were able to kick off the wedding season with a bang. Sarah and Kayla’s engagement shoot at Croton Gorge Park felt like stepping into a day that naturally unfolded without trying too hard. The energy between them carried everything. All the little laughs and smiles and small moments made everything perfect!
We started by the Waterfall cascading off the sides of the Gorge before moving thorough out the park, including by the walls of the gorge, a bridge overlooking a waterfall an on top of the gorge itself to capture more amazing moments.
The early spring weather was chilly while the sunset overlooking the dam was gorgeous.
What stood out most throughout the shoot wasn’t any single location, but how consistently they showed up as themselves. There was no switch being flipped for the camera. No trying to perform. Just two people who clearly enjoy being together, letting that speak for itself. That kind of connection doesn’t need to be dressed up—it carries the entire experience.
Talking about their plans for next March brought a different kind of excitement into the mix. Their wedding at The Grandview is already shaping up to feel just as personal as this day did. If their engagement shoot is any indication, it’s going to be filled with the same kind of moments—quiet, genuine, and full of meaning without trying to be anything else.
Their Croton Gorge Park Engagement Photos weren’t about checking off a list of shots. It was about documenting where they are right now—this stage of anticipation, comfort, and excitement before everything shifts into wedding mode. The kind of moments that don’t get repeated in the same way again. We can’t wait for next year!
